A Hui Hou, Copeland family!

I wish I met the Copelands three years ago, when they first reached the island. When we moved back to Hawaii in October, I looked forward to meeting Amy, a fellow photographer at our church whose work had already made me cry (click here). Shortly after arriving, Amy and Nate welcomed baby girl Audrey, and shortly after that, Amy and I were photo-adventuring together with other photographer friends from church. Photography is one of the most vulnerable endeavors I’ve pursued, and with it comes many insecurities, struggles, joys, and triumphs. Amy and I shared our hearts over mothering and church and photography for the few precious months we had together, and now we say “a hui hou” to this sweet family who recently relocated to DC.

About the session itself: Early morning light, vibrant colors, more family love than can ever be captured… it was a great session.
