Rasmussen {family + cake smash}

I met Jen and Jeff in college, during the camp years. We both worked at the same summer camp for one summer. Fast forward a few years and they found themselves stationed in Hawaii, and our newest volunteer youth leaders. We all left the island around the same time, Jeff and Jen a few months before us, and we are all now back. The island has a way of doing that… drawing people back to her beauty and her culture. For this session, we went to a family favorite – Haleiwa Beach, except a little bit tucked away. I never knew it even existed, but Jeff, a fellow photographer, has done plenty sessions out here. A few days later, I brought my girls to this beach where we spotted 5 honu (turtles)! Look for the honu photo bomb in some of their images!
